We Simplify Medicare
Southern Plains Insurance Group
If you’re approaching retirement, you may have questions about what to do when you become eligible for Medicare. You might be wondering how to sign up or if the phone calls and letters you’ve received are legitimate. Southern Plains Insurance Group’s licensed health insurance agents are here to help you make sure you’re set up to draw Medicare and answer any questions you have.
Original Medicare
Together referred to as Original Medicare, Medicare Parts A & B cover most basic healthcare needs, such as doctor and hospital visits, lab work and x-rays. You can use any facility or provider nationwide that accepts Medicare. However, supplemental plans are often needed to help cover deductibles and copayments.
Southern Plains Insurance Group will help you decide whether Original Medicare will have enough coverage or if you’ll need Medicare Supplement Insurance, prescription drug benefits with Medicare Part D, or another supplemental health insurance policy. As experienced health insurance brokers, we can also help you choose supplemental policies for services that Medicare doesn’t cover, such as dental and vision insurance.

Additional Coverage to Help You Save Money
Original Medicare, which consists of Part A (hospital insurance) and Part B (medical insurance), provides coverage for many basic medical expenses. But it doesn’t cover everything, leaving seniors scrambling to come up with the money for costs like deductibles and copayments.
Medicare supplemental plans are available to help fill those gaps. You can add more prescription drug coverage with Medicare Part D, purchase a Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) Plan to help cover copays and deductibles.
With so many options, it’s common to feel overwhelmed. But rest assured, Southern Plains Insurance Group will evaluate your situation and help you choose the Medicare plans and supplements you need.
Medicare Supplement (Medigap)
Deductibles and copayments can add up. Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap, are available to help reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Medicare Part D (Prescription Drugs)
Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B benefits may cover some prescription drugs, but we can help you determine if you need additional coverage.
